Beschreibung

For more than 50 years I've had a cough when I've denied negative thoughts. It first occured when I was a freshman in college. I coughed so much that I would repeatedly start to pass out from lack of oxygen. Only as I was falling to the ground and about to completely pass out, would my throat relax and allow me to inhale. Years later I discovered I could stop the spasmodic cough by acknowledging the otherwise denied negative thoughts. Recently, I've noticed a more frequent recurrance of the cough. In today's meditation I heard that the denied thought that was causing me to cough now is "This isn't working for you". Upon accepting the existence of that thought, I immediatley started having thoughts about why that thought was not true. It is true that I have unrealized potential. AND, my commitment to being ever more accepting and in alignment with what is true is effectively moving me forward. Whenever I accept a negative thought that was previously denied, I feel my body let go of tension I wasn't even aware existed. This is the case with accepting the thought "this isn't working for me". We create our world with our thoughts. I offer thought coaching to assist in becoming aware of our thoughts and the power we have to choose to act on them or not. Episode Why sometimes it seems impossible to do what we should do Cover

Why sometimes it seems impossible to do what we should do

Our behavior is controlled by our conscious and unconscious mind. When we can't seem to get ourselves to do what we want to do, it's because subconscious thoughts are stopping us. The solution is to move the thoughts from the subconscious to the conscious. Once the thought is in our conscious mind, we can choose to act on it or not. As long as it's in the subconcious mind, we don't have a choice to act on it or not. There are a number of ways to move the thought from the subconscious to the conscious. One is to listen closely to the thoughts in our mind. For me, I've had the thought that it's not safe for me to be myself despite the fact that being myself is the only thing that works. Since I've moved that thought into my conscious, I can choose not to act on it. You can do the same. I offer thought coaching to help you move thoughts from the unconscious to the conscious and bring a level of consciious choice to your life you didn't have before. Re igniting the spark

You can re ignite your spark anytime you want. Sit quiety amd ask for ideas to come into you mind that that are exciting and uplifting. Then act on those ideas. Make some goals you're enthusiastic about and take action. I want to make a huge contribution to the world. That's a gigantic goal. It inspires me to keep finding more and more ways to contribute value using my talents. I'm excited anytime I make progress. I'm temporarily depressed when things don't go as I hoped. But, the excitement of the goal helps me learn from what didn't work and try something else. I offer thought coaching. If you think that would improve your life, reserve a free initial coaching session to see if that's for you. https://calendly.com/scottfriedman40/30min [https://calendly.com/scottfriedman40/30min] My books are available on Amazon. Episode Increasing value Cover

Increasing value

We are all of infinite value. The challenge is to consciously accept it to the point where that acceptance of our value is reflected back to us by the outer world. One way to do this is to persist. Every attempt we make in achieving what is important to us strengthens our belief in ourself. I wrote a book entitled, "Believing in Ourself The Master Skill". Another way we clear the way to allow ourself to see our value reflectred back to us is to minimize the thoughts that work against that. That would include thoughts such as "I don't have what it takes", "I don't have the value to offer" and other similiar thoughts. Acknowledging those thoughts, allowing them to exist in our mind, and refusing to act on them, minimizes their impact. I offer coaching to help you accept and beneficailly share more of the value within you.
