Less than a week ago, President Trump was threatening additional strikes. Now he has signed an agreement with Iran. But some of the loudest criticism isn’t coming from Democrats. It’s coming from Republicans, conservative media, and even former allies who say the deal fails to achieve many of the goals the administration originally promised. 13:25 — The real reason the deal may have been unavoidable For months, the message was that America didn’t need Middle Eastern oil. Then the President acknowledged something very different: that reserves could have become a serious problem within weeks.
