What if the book of Ruth isn't primarily a love story? In this Season 1 finale, we journey through the book of Ruth to discover one of the most beautiful pictures of redemption in all of Scripture. Together, we'll explore the role of the kinsman redeemer, the significance of the threshing floor, the powerful meaning behind the Hebrew word kanaph ("wing" or "corner of a garment"), and how Ruth's story ultimately points us to Jesus, our willing Redeemer. What if faith isn't pretending everything is okay? Do I believe God's redemption extends even to people like me? What broken places in my life need to be placed in the Potter's hands? How does this story change the way I view God's ability to redeem painful circumstances? What does the potter's field teach me about God's heart for the overlooked and forgotten?   Final Reminder Judas saw a field. The religious leaders saw a place to bury strangers. But God saw something bigger. A field purchased with the price of the rejected Shepherd. A place for outsiders. A reminder that redemption was never meant for a select few.
