Following His baptism, Jesus is led into the wilderness where He faces Satan’s attacks and succeeds where Adam and Israel failed. Because of His victory, those who are in Christ no longer fight for victory but from victory. As we face temptation and spiritual battles in our own lives, we are called to depend on Christ and anchor ourselves in the truth of God’s Word.
