Hearing loss tends to happen more often the older we get. According to NIDCD, about to 2-3 out of every 1,000 children in the United States are born with a detectable level of hearing loss in one or both ears - our special guest, Kellina, wasn't born deaf but she became deaf at only 4 years old. Kellina, or as she's known as the Deaf Queen Boss, is a Deaf Advocacy and a Life Coach for Young Professionals with Disabilities. She is passionate about guiding and supporting people with disabilities to try different tools and strategies to reach their fullest potential, especially within the deaf community.
