have you ever felt anxious at social gatherings and felt like you couldn't be yourself because of how you look? society's beauty standard made many of us believe that it is not only unattainable but expected for us to reach that level. They say that if you look good, you'll feel good. But, trying to find confidence only through the perception of "looking good" is a never-ending battle.  Let me share my story.
