S2. Episode 9 - John Madden

In the final episode of series 2, in one part (not the usual two parter) John Madden, the oldest member of Kilbrittain GAA club, tells us about how everyone used to make their own hurleys, how one exploded on him and what makes a good one. We hear about some players from 1920's championship winning team and how Bandon reneged on a Minor Final in 1949. He talks about his time with the camogie club and some of his favourite moments.

In the second last episode of the series, Danjoe Holland, one of our oldest club members, at 90, talks about some important roles in the West Cork Board and those of this generation who filled those boots. He chats about some good players in recent memory and some good players back in the day and we get around to big Courcey rivals and using his field as a pitch back in the day.
