The Church at Monument - Sermons
In this expositional sermon on James 2:14-26, we are confronted with a sobering question: what kind of faith do we actually possess? James shows that genuine saving faith is never barren, but is proven by a life of obedience, mercy, and love for God and neighbor. Looking at the examples of Abraham and Rahab, we see that true faith is vindicated by its fruit, while empty profession is exposed as dead. The passage ultimately drives us away from self-reliance and calls us to trust in Christ alone, whose saving work produces a living faith that acts.
