Episode Leaning into FOCUS Cover

Beschreibung

Focus is something as an artist I am struggled with for a long time especially as an adult and even more so when I gave myself permission to start a creative business. Suddenly I wanted to do all of it all at once.  I found it very difficult to just choose one or two things to focus on. Instead I would have levels it felt like of focus.  I could give this one x amount of time and energy and then came the lower levels and they got less, etc. At any given time I had my hands in about 5-8 “focuses”. I knew it wasn’t optimal but I also believed that is how it had to be as a multi-passionate person. End of story. In this episode I share my most recent experience with focus and folks it surprised even me…

Interview with Michaela Wilson of Nothin But Daisies Flower Farm

What happens when your heart is in the garden, but your days are still in the corporate world? In this episode of The Creative Living Podcast, I sit down with my friend Michaela Wilson, founder of Nothin But Daisies, to talk about the shift in mindset that comes when you pour creative energy into something that gives back—like tending flowers and land. Michaelan shares how she’s learning to balance the realities of corporate work with the joy of nurturing a flower farm, and how this new rhythm has brought her clarity, inspiration, and a sense of purpose. She’s still in the middle of the journey—but her vision for the future is blooming. At the end, she flips the script and asks me about the past six months of my own transformation—what’s changed, what I’ve learned, and how the garden continues to shape my creative life too. 🌿 Tune in if you’re curious about:     •    Balancing a corporate job with a creative calling     •    How the garden can transform your mindset and energy     •    The early stages of building a flower farm and vision for the future     •    Honest reflections on growth, courage, and creativity
