The Cries of the Martyrs: Stories of Faith & Sacrifice
On February 19, 2018, armed militants stormed a school in Dapchi, Nigeria, abducting more than one hundred girls. Weeks later, nearly all of them were released. One girl remained. Her name was Leah Sharibu. At just 14 years old, Leah was given a choice: renounce Jesus Christ and go home, or remain in captivity. She chose Christ. In this episode of Cries of the Martyrs, we tell the remarkable story of a young Nigerian girl whose faith has inspired believers around the world. From her childhood in Dapchi to the day she stayed behind to help a sick classmate, Leah's story is a powerful reminder that faithfulness often shines brightest in the darkest places. Though years have passed, Leah's story is not over. Somewhere tonight, Leah Sharibu's story is still being written. 📖 Instagram: @criesofthemartyrspodcast 🎵 Spotify: Cries of the Martyrs Podcast 📺 YouTube: Cries of the Martyrs YouTube Channel Follow Cries of the Martyrs
