When you're in the midst of an extreme fear-based intrusive thought, no matter what, you feel paralyzed. You don't understand why logic isn't working, and you feel extreme fear. In my case, it felt like all the hope and joy were sucked out of the air around me. It was horrible, and I didn't know how to escape this zone for the longest time. In this episode I am going to discuss the steps I take to deal with these intrusive thoughts and pull yourself out of the freeze, fight or flight state.
