The Difference Engine
In this episode, I talk about what I believe is one of the most overlooked traits behind growth, success, and long-term progress: coachability. I break down why intelligence, talent, charisma, and even discipline matter less if someone isn’t willing to learn from others, receive feedback, and stay accountable to their goals. Because growth usually starts with humility—the ability to admit that someone else may know something you don’t. I also dive into the difference between having vague goals versus measurable goals, why accountability is uncomfortable for most people, and how defensiveness can quietly block personal and professional growth. This episode is about learning how to receive feedback, identify blind spots, and intentionally put yourself around people who can help you become better than you currently are.
