We begin our journey by sharing the stories and transformations of others. Lawrence Butterfield is currently in Utah State Prison. Having laid down the gang life and the pursuit of the next high, Lawrence lives today to share his story and his testimony that through God, we can transform and find peace. Accumulative Inspiration

Why did I get sober? Where is my recovery going to take me? How am I going to retire and not become a burden on others? These are the questions we must ask ourselves. This is the last solo episode as we now begin to learn from each other. There will never be a cookie cutter solution, so the best thing we can do is accumulate different strategies and methods from as many people as we can learn from. This is how we deflect narrow minded approaches and strategies towards becoming our best selves, as we work towards our passions and dreams through inspiration. I didn't get sober just to be sober. I got sober to maximize life and everything it has to offer. Hopefully you did too. Continue this journey with me, for together we are unstoppable. This is the accumulative inspiration.

Finding vision in life can be hard, yet we all have it right within our hearts and souls. Passion turns into purpose, which is attainable through consistent progress. Whether you're an addict in recovery or you are facing other struggles or demons, the principles of creating a life worth living are the same. It took a decade of incarceration and addiction for me to find passion and purpose outside of myself to propel myself towards my dreams. Follow this journey with me.

Finding Your Recovery Equation

Throughout my recovery I have adopted specific principles which have allowed me to freely progress based on what works for me. The same goes for you. Spirituality, Harm Reduction, and College have combined to become my three components in my equation for recovery. Walk this journey with me as my life experiences shed light on how there really is no "one size, one way, fits all" approach to recovery. Recovery is about you! Nobody else. Find courage, hope, and inspiration as we learn and transform with one another.

Change is the Law of Life

Our internal dialogues reflect themselves in everything we do. Throughout my addiction, my negative internal narrative fed my demons. Low self-worth. Low confidence. Abandonment. Fear, of just about anything that made me feel vulnerable. Through hell I found purpose, which has transformed my life. I can't read fortunes, but I can share with you the power that transforming your inner dialogue has in each and every one of our lives. Believe in yourself. Change is the law of life. Embrace it. Wield it.
