The Gospel by the Lake
From a 2,000-year-old Judean date palm to a random patch of backyard sunflowers planted by ambitious ground squirrels, seeds have a miraculous way of springing to life when we least expect it. This message explores the liberating truth behind planting the "seed" of the Gospel: we get the incredible privilege of scattering it, but the pressure of the harvest isn't on our shoulders. While we are challenged to be intentional about the kind of soil we cultivate in our homes and churches, the heavy lifting ultimately belongs to God. It’s a comforting reminder that the same God who brings a dormant seed out of the dirt also breathes eternal, enduring faith into our hearts.
