This episode I am proceeding with my 20th Century Witchcraft series with a spotlight on the 1930s! One of the biggest events of the 1930s that forever colored and impacted life since is the Holocaust. In some indirect ways Hitler and the Holocaust influences not only how we viewed Judaism and Jewish folk in general, but may have also had a lasting impact on the credibility of the occult and mystic practices ever since.

Episode 1: When the Magick Stopped

This the FIRST episode of my NEW podcast! This is the spoken version of a blog post I made back in January which was to become the jumping off point for many others after it diving into the History of Magick. Although magick has never truly “stopped” per say, it sure did go underground for a long time. Even still, magick is slowly crawling out of the recesses of the dark caves of the collective subconscious. A lot has been lost. A lot more is being rediscovered and created every day. And while that thought gives me great hope for the future of the Old Ways as they change to fit an constantly evolving present and future, that’s not what I want to talk about today. This week in my blog I want to talk about how magick NEVER truly stopped and how I feel that makes our love of all things vintage and delightfully secondhand that much more magickal.
