Beschreibung

In this episode, I walk through 1 Samuel 5 — the moment when the Ark of the Covenant was placed beside Dagon, and the idol couldn’t stay standing in the presence of God. And I talk about what that means for us now, because we are the temple of God, and the idols we deal with today aren’t statues… they’re beliefs, relationships, voices, patterns, and attachments we’ve elevated above Him without realizing it. As I’ve been on my own journey with the Lord, He’s shown me places where I had allowed hidden idols to sit beside His presence — things that created chaos, tension, and misalignment in my life. One of the biggest moments for me was when God revealed that I had made my pastor an idol. I cared more about his voice and his opinion than the instruction of the Lord. I share that story, along with another example, not to center myself… but to help you recognize how subtle and unintentional idols can be. Because here’s the truth: a lot of what people call “the devil” is actually the conflict created when we bring idols close to the temple of God. We end up fighting battles we started by hosting things that cannot coexist with His presence. In this episode, I want to help you see what God helped me see. We’ll talk about:• How idols today look nothing like statues but carry the same power to disrupt• Why internal warfare often comes from what we’ve allowed into God’s space• How God lovingly confronts what can’t stay in His presence• What it looks like to discern between spiritual attack and spiritual misalignment• How to invite the Holy Spirit to reveal hidden idols without shame My hope is that as you listen, you’ll feel the Holy Spirit gently highlight anything in your life that’s been placed beside Him — anything that’s stealing peace, creating pressure, or causing conflict inside the temple. Not to condemn you, but to free you. Because whatever is brought close to the presence of God will either bow… or be removed 🛠️EVERYTHING I’M BUILDING 🛠️ MY LINKS, RESOURCES, AND WAYS TO STAY CONNECTED 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 JESSICALOCKLEAR.COM/DIGITALHUB YOU KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND YOU SEND EVERYTHING TO...  SEND THIS EPISODE TO THEM. Episode The First Question of Identity: Who Told You That? Breaking Agreement With Every False Voice Cover

The First Question of Identity: Who Told You That? Breaking Agreement With Every False Voice

For about seven months now, the Lord keeps bringing me back to Genesis 3 — specifically that question, “Who told you that?” It’s been something He’s been working out in me quietly, and I finally felt like I should share it. In this episode, I talk through how that question has made me look at the things I’ve believed about myself, where they came from, and whether they were spoken by God or spoken by the enemy. We slow down, take inventory of those voices, call out the lies, and replace them with the truth of who God actually says we are. If you’ve been carrying things that don’t feel like they came from Him, this will help you trace it back and let it go.🛠️EVERYTHING I’M BUILDING 🛠️ MY LINKS, RESOURCES, AND WAYS TO STAY CONNECTED 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 JESSICALOCKLEAR.COM/DIGITALHUB YOU KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND YOU SEND EVERYTHING TO...  SEND THIS EPISODE TO THEM. Episode The Sinner's Prayer Won't Save You - But Jesus Can Cover

The Sinner's Prayer Won't Save You - But Jesus Can

Many have repeated the “sinner’s prayer” thinking it guaranteed salvation — but Scripture tells a different story. In this episode, Jessica unpacks the biblical truth about salvation, exposing the false assurance that can come from scripted words without true repentance and belief. You’ll hear why some people who prayed the prayer will still find themselves in hell — not because God failed, but because their hearts never surrendered. This is a wake-up call for unbelievers, seekers, and anyone who’s unsure about what it really means to be saved. 🔍 What we cover: • Why the sinner’s prayer isn’t found in the Bible • The historical origin of the prayer and how it became popular • What salvation actually requires — confession, belief, and surrender (Romans 10:9–10) • Why no one is good without Jesus (Romans 3:10–12, Isaiah 64:6, Jeremiah 17:9) • How to know if you’ve truly been born again This isn’t about fear — it’s about clarity. Jesus is the only way to be rescued, made clean, and reconciled to God. And He’s not asking for perfect words — He’s asking for your heart. 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 EVERYTHING I’M BUILDING  MY LINKS, RESOURCES, AND WAYS TO STAY CONNECTED — IS HERE:   JESSICALOCKLEAR.COM/DIGITALHUB YOU KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND YOU SEND EVERYTHING TO — SEND THIS EPISODE TO THEM. Episode Knowing God Deeply | Why You Can’t Worship a God You Don’t Know Cover

Knowing God Deeply | Why You Can’t Worship a God You Don’t Know

In this episode, “Knowing God Deeply | Why You Can’t Worship a God You Don’t Know,” we explore why authentic worship is impossible without personal revelation. You can’t worship a God you only know through sermons, songs, or someone else’s relationship. Real worship flows from knowing Him intimately, personally, and truthfully. This teaching brings clarity to: * Why imitation worship leaves you empty * How revelation transforms your worship life * What it means to worship in spirit and truth * Why surface‑level Christianity cannot produce deep worship * How knowing God’s character shapes your posture before Him If you’re longing for deeper intimacy with God, a more authentic worship life, and a clearer understanding of who He is, this episode will ground you, challenge you, and draw you closer to Him. Come discover why you can’t worship a God you don’t know—and how knowing Him changes everything EVERYTHING I’M BUILDING  MY LINKS, RESOURCES, AND WAYS TO STAY CONNECTED — IS HERE:   JESSICALOCKLEAR.COM/DIGITALHUB YOU KNOW THAT ONE FRIEND YOU SEND EVERYTHING TO WHEN IT HITS FOR YOU — SEND THIS EPISODE TO THEM.
