In today’s episode I’m  joined by Professor Stephen Dodd - Steve was Professor of Japanese Literature at SOAS, University of London, a leading institution for the study of Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He has degrees in Chinese (1977) and Japanese (1980) from Keble College, Oxford and obtained a PhD in Japanese Literature from Columbia University (1993).   After teaching briefly at UC Santa Barbara (1993), he became Assistant Professor in Japanese Literature at Duke University (1993-94). In this episode I’m joined by a man who prefers to remain anonymous. I came to know about Anon through the Delingpod that he featured in alongside Jerry Marzinsky the clinical psychologist where they explored not only Jerry’s experience with patients who although diagnosed with Schizophrenia he came to learn that the voices they reported to hear where not internally manufactured but rather more entities that were within the patients mind intent on causing chaos and destruction. During the podcast Anon went on to describe his own story and experience not as a clinical psychologist as is Jerry but from a patients point of view.
