17. Enjoying Ease by Surrendering the Control to God: Even in Times of Adversity

Being open to new opportunities, relationships and experiences. As I allow God the control, my life is unfolding in the most interesting way. I see things so differently and enjoy the ease I am experiencing by surrendering and allowing alignment, even in adversity. Who do you spend the most time with? Do they inspire you, help you grow and respect you with clear communication? When we think someone can handle it, this is a natural mutual part of a healthy relationship. This can be you asking for what you need. Your expectations with your spouse or children or in your business with clients or staff. If you have experienced a recent trauma, your weekly schedule might surprise other people that have no idea what is happening behind the scenes. Things can appear different than the hard reality, however we can choose to focus on gratitude and not to complain or share the details. I practice gratitude before my feet even hit the floor in the morning.  In this episode, I share a fictional story from a tv series of a character the lives a life of ease in most areas, however she faces adversity when a past trauma comes back to haunt her. She chooses to trust, even when those around her didn't have faith in her. Imagine the possibilities when we follow the nudge. It's likely overwhelm or stress. Can you relate to this as a mother running a business, trying to find time for yourself and your family? Imagine your day starting calm and slow. Intentional. The positive ripple effect this creates flowing into your children's morning, your drive to work, your interaction with people in your business throughout the day or the tasks in your office and finally the feeling at the end of the day when you reflect. How was your interaction with those around you? Were you noticing how you were feeling throughout the day? When we feel like we were productive it creates a positive experience instead of just putting out fires all day long. It can also be the mental or physical aptitude to do something such as learn, process trauma, stress or perform tasks. Our bodies have a certain capacity based on several factors and can break down with repetition, which is especially common in the salon service industry. When you have had the experience of learning what you enjoy the most, you can choose to elevate and refine. Our circumstances don't need to keep us stuck. It's the willingness to see this as a part of the human experience. We can choose our WHY or NORTH STAR. I changed my mindset when I had the help of multiple guides that could show me a different shorter path of alignment. I don't want you to take the long road and miss out on the joy of the journey. I want you to feel fulfillment daily. The people you choose to spend time with affect these results, so choose wisely.
