I thought NOTHING could get worse press than UFC on the White House South Lawn… but boy was I wrong. The establishment media is FREAKING OUT over the Great American State Fair hosted by Freedom 250 on the National Mall this month, and every time I open the Internet I come across another negative headline trashing “Trump’s fair” as completely empty, boring, and poorly planned. Living in Washington ourselves, my daughter Isla and I decided to check it out and brave the heatwave currently plaguing the swamp to see it for ourselves. Spoiler alert–it was AWESOME, and a fantastic concept to “visit” all 50 states and even more U.S. territories to experience the incredible breadth of culture we take for granted in America day in & day out.
