Welcome to Rest Reflect Recover Meditation. Before you begin, please listen to this introduction to set the foundation for your experience. This meditation is designed to help you reflect on your day, rest your mind and body, access your subconscious, and recover from the day's events. It’s ideal to listen before sleep, as your brain naturally transitions from Alpha to Delta brain waves, making it easier to access the subconscious. We’ll start with deep breathing and relaxation. I’ll use hypnotic language and calming music to slow down your brain waves and guide you into a relaxed state, allowing you to access your subconscious mind. Think of the subconscious as the software of your mind, running in the background, while the conscious mind is the hardware. Although positive conscious thinking is important, if your subconscious is filled with limiting thoughts and emotions, they will dominate your experience. The subconscious makes up 95% of your mind, much like the unseen part of an iceberg beneath the surface. After the breathwork, you’ll focus on your heart center. This is the seat of your soul, where elevated emotions like gratitude, love, and freedom are generated. Allow your heart to open and expand during this process. Next, you’ll reflect on your day, becoming aware of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This awareness allows you to observe your life as if watching a movie. Notice when you disconnected from the future reality you wish to create. What thoughts and emotions were present? What would you like to change? I’ll guide you to release any emotions from the day that no longer serve you. As you breathe deeply, let go of any negative emotions such as guilt, fear, or anxiety. Exhale and release that energy, allowing your body to fully relax. Emotions are energy in motion, so surrender them as you prepare for a restful night. Signal to your body feelings of strength, rejuvenation, and restfulness, conditioning it for deep, restorative sleep. Then, let yourself drift off into a night of vivid dreams. I hope you enjoy this meditation. For more resources visit: www.thejustinrice.com
