TRIGGER WARNING⚠️ // Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, Sexual Abuse, Rape  We do not advise that you listen to this episode if you may be triggered by discussions related to gender-based violence‼️  We may not know her, but we are "HER." How many times have you heard stories of women who have suffered assault, abuse, or have been brutally murdered at the hands of men who didn't want to hear "NO."?  In this Sober Sunday feature, we discussed the recent upsurge of gender-based violence, prompted by the unfortunate murder of a 20-year-old woman in Jamaica. We also detailed our personal experiences with harassment and how thousands of women have been failed by our justice system. We may not know her, but we are "HER" she doesn't have to be a friend or family member for us to understand the grave safety issue ALL young women face in Jamaica.  We'd love to hear your opinions so, tweet us @kindatipsypod on Twitter and use the hashtag #WeAreHER to join our discussion. You can also send us a DM @thekindatipsypodcast on Instagram. If you would like to share your experiences or add to the conversation, send us an email at kindatipsypodcast@gmail.com. And Then There Were Two…

So we took a break…it was longer than we expected but we’re BACK…🙈 Over the break we got internships, jobs and NEW microphones 🎙 (so bear with us if the audio sounds a bit sketchy, we’ll get the hang of it soon.) This was supposed to be an archived episode that we decided to post so please enjoy, just a disclaimer even though we discussed the Olympics we aren’t major sports fans so there may be some incorrect information floating around so don’t come for us because we don’t really know what we’re talking about (a.k.a we just a chat) buttttt let us know what you want us to discuss in the future or who you want to be featured on our podcast! Thank you so much for your support and your patience with us 💕💕💕 Connect with us on social media on Instagram @thekindatipsypodcast and Twitter @kindatipsypod
