Rivalry and Risk Taking

In this episode I will be exploring the implications of rivalry on risk taking in settings such as organizations and on the athletic field. I will be analyzing a journal article called “Going For It On Fourth Down: Rivalry Increases Risk Taking, Physiological Arousal, and Promotion Focus.” I will also be interviewing a teammate of mine on the Carnegie Mellon football team to discuss how we have encountered rivalry increasing our team’s risk taking behavior on the field.
