Toxic Empathy/Compassion

We are commanded to have compassion. It is also good to have empathy toward others. However, is it possible that those attributes can become "toxic" to us? We browse through a few examples in the scriptures where Christ sets some sort of limit on the compassion/empathy that He shows to others. Meekness

This episode we examine what is possibly one of the greatest attributes of Christ and one of the hardest to exhibit. Meekness is not just simply admitting or internalizing that you are not enough, it requires certain action to be taken. Through it, faith and understanding in the Savior is increased. The Savior even tells us that it is the meek that shall inherit the earth. AI and the Gospel

If there really is nothing new under the sun, what does the gospel have to tell us about AI? From Paul Harvey to ancient and current appostles, we look at warnings and encouragement with this new tool that we are being introduced to. If we are not careful, we can let this tool take control of our lives, just like any other addiction can. Song of the Heart

If a picture is worth a thousand words, music is worth all of the feelings. Music has a special ability to convey emotion to the listener unlike anything else.
