In which the artist Kenyon wrestles with the elusive task of capturing the true essence of his friend Donatello’s complex spirit in marble, only to reveal, rather disturbingly, the dark turmoil beneath his serene exterior. Subsequently, Kenyon roams the fertile vineyards of Monte Beni, where rustic life and the slow ripening of fruit and wine mingle with subtle shadows of remorse and yearning, before he is quietly summoned by the mysterious Signorina.
