In this episode, Michael Berger and I have a great conversation on what he does, our journeys, and how we both got started on our journeys through The REAL (Resilience. Empowerment. Acceptance. Love.) Course (formerly TLC and UYO). We talk about similar experiences with #critical and #judgmental parents who created #shame for us. #Codependency issues and #selflove was also discussed. We have #choices in our lives and one of those is to decide whether or not we want to keep repeating the same old #patterns that no longer work for or serve us in any situation in our lives or shift our personal view and personal power to something that changes our lives. We also talk about being #vulnerable and a #highlysensitive and using those as a superpower. #TheREALCourse really opened the door for us to empower ourselves in our lives and I am honored to share this course with you. S4 - Episode 5 - Short Talk on Brightening Someone's Day

In this episode, someone I was talking to this morning brightened my day and it was such an incredible experience, I wanted to share my thoughts on what happened. I was floored by a compliment that was given to me and realized that we don't do that nearly enough in this world. Bullying seems to be more prevalent than being kind and it feels, to me, that hurt people, hurt people. When we feel hurt we tend to lash out and there is a limited amount of kindness. My healing journey has shown me that the more I have healed from trauma, the more I am kind to people. Try it for yourself for a day. Reach out to share a smile, a compliment or open a door for someone (for you, not them) and see what happens for the rest of the day. I give guidance from my own personal and professional experience.  In this episode, I am talking with Diane Ochoa and Maya Goreshnik about health and Redox Signaling Molecules which are innate in our bodies. My introduction to them came from a friend of a friend in trying to find a place to stay on my way back down to Florida while I was on my travels in the past year. My small personal experience has led me to want to add this to my healing journey. Listen in as Diane shares her story of the past couple of years and how this has helped her and Maya shares very interesting and important information about what Redox Signaling Molecules are. In addition, each week, I will post an update to share what is going on for me as my favorite thing is to be a guinea pig and share in something I believe in. It is so important to me to see where this will take us. It is something that has been researched since the 18th century Joseph Priestly and the other co-discovers of oxygen in the eighteenth century, the potential toxicity of this essential gas has been known. It wasn't until the 1950's, when understanding of the mechanism did not advance significantly, when Rebecca Gerschman and coworkers noted that oxygen poisoning resembled the damage from X-rays and proposed that free radicals were involved.
