We all have a picture in our minds of how life is supposed to go. Graduate. Start a career. Get married. Buy a house. Raise a family. Retire. But what happens when life has other plans? In this episode of The Roundtable for Men, Chad Tafs shares his own journey through unexpected detours, from the Army to fatherhood, coaching, career changes, and building The Roundtable. Together, we explore what it means to grieve the life we thought we'd have, stop comparing our timeline to everyone else's,and redefine what success really looks like. This week we've started something new called the Roundtable Reflection. This week it's a reminder that just because your life didn't go according to plan doesn't mean your story is over. This weeks challenge: Write down three things in your life that didn't go according to plan. Then ask yourself: -What did this teach me? -How did it make me a better man? Sometimes the road you never wanted to take becomes the road that shapes you into the man you're meant to become. Pull up a chair. Let's have the conversation. #theroundtableformen #fatherhood #mentalhealth #purpose #growth #menspodcast

Episode Who Are You Beneath the Roles? Cover

Who Are You Beneath the Roles?

Most men spend their lives collecting titles. Husband. Father. Provider. Leader. Business owner. Employee. And while those roles matter, what happens when they become your entire identity? In this episode of The Roundtable for Men, Chad explores how responsibility slowly reshapes who we are, why so many men lose themselves beneath the weight of their obligations, and what happens when the roles we’ve built our lives around begin to change. From fatherhood and military service to friendship, purpose, and personal identity, this conversation challenges men to look beyond what they do and ask a deeper question: Who are you beneath the roles? Episode When Anger Is Really Exhaustion Cover

When Anger Is Really Exhaustion

A lot of men aren’t angry because they’re hateful. They’re angry because they’re exhausted. Exhausted mentally. Emotionally. Physically. Financially. And after carrying pressure for long enough, that exhaustion starts sounding like anger. In this episode, Chad talks about survival mode, burnout, emotional overload, resentment, and why the people we love most often feel the effects of our exhaustion first. This isn’t a conversation about excuses. It’s a conversation about awareness. Because exhaustion may explain our reactions, but it doesn’t justify them. If you’ve been feeling frustrated, irritable, overwhelmed, or like your fuse is getting shorter, this episode is for you. Pull up a chair and join the conversation. 🎙️ The Roundtable for Men #TheRoundtableForMen #MensMentalHealth #Fatherhood #MensPodcast #Burnout #Exhaustion #MentalHealthAwareness #PersonalGrowth #SelfAwareness #Brotherhood
