Beschreibung

In this episode of The Spiritual Language Teacher, Anne-Sophie takes listeners on a profound journey through Shel Silverstein’s classic The Giving Tree. She weaves together personal stories, archetypal insight, and rich etymology to reframe the book as a mirror for over-giving and taking, two faces of the same coin, both rooted in an absence of true receiving and a disconnection from self-love. The episode closes with two accessible and powerful Homebliss practices that help listeners gently begin to re-pattern their own ways of giving and receiving in everyday life, and concludes with a short but impactful heart garden guided meditation to explore the current state of their giving and receiving, deeply nurturing for adults and children alike.

Episode The Energetic and Linguistic Power of Gratitude for World Language Teachers Cover

The Energetic and Linguistic Power of Gratitude for World Language Teachers

In this very special edition of The Spiritual Language Teacher Podcast, created specifically for world language teachers, Anne‑Sophie explores how gratitude builds the stamina of the nervous system, the root of sovereignty, inviting us into a state where the more we receive grace, the more we can offer gratitude. Drawing on David R. Hawkins’ map of consciousness and her own classroom experience, she reveals the secret of gratitude as a portal into the now and into the spiral of self‑love. The episode culminates with a simple yet radical breath‑based gratitude ritual that has transformed her French pre‑K to 3rd‑grade classes energetically and linguistically, and that can be adapted to any target language, any age, and any teaching context. She illuminates how this “bridge practice” supports second language acquisition through Stephen Krashen’s insights while catalyzing inner energetic transformation, both quietly magical and profoundly empowering. The full script of the gratitude practice in English and in French are included for easy implementation in any World Language classroom. If you like this episode,  like and subscribe. And as always remember to breathe.  Place your hands over your heart. Close your eyes if that feels safe. Take a deep breath in. Hold it gently at the top for three seconds: one, two, three. Exhale all the air out. Rest at the bottom: one, two, three. Repeat that breath: breathe in,  hold it at the top, one, two, three Breathe out, rest at the bottom, one, two, three. Say, “I have gratitude for myself and for my nervous system.” And then, “I have gratitude for something else.” Everyone silently thinks of their gratitude.  After a few seconds, you say: open your eyes. Then invite your students to whisper their gratitude into their hand. Then ask them to throw it toward what is on the screen. Then ask, “Who wants to share their gratitude?”

Episode "Happiness is Embodied Co‑Creation Rooted in Sovereignty, Coherence, and Resonance with Stone Soup" Cover

"Happiness is Embodied Co‑Creation Rooted in Sovereignty, Coherence, and Resonance with Stone Soup"

In this fourth episode of The Spiritual Language Teacher Podcast, Anne‑Sophie delves into the mythic wisdom of Jon J. Muth’s Stone Soup as a living parable of embodied co‑creation. She explores what embodied co‑creation is: an eternal, regenerative model of creation directly connected to Source and symbolized by the eternal lotus flower. Drawing on the three needs of Self‑Determination Theory (autonomy, competence, and relatedness), she unfolds their spiritual counterparts as the roots of embodied co‑creation: sovereignty, coherence, and resonance. The story of Stone Soup anchors this deep, essential, and very timely way of creating our reality, reminding us that it is our natural state and that each of us can choose to become again an embodied co‑creator. The episode closes with two playful yet impactful Homebliss practices that offer a tangible taste of what embodied co‑creation may feel like.
