trigger warning : suicide, suicide ideation, self harm and manic episodes hi salam alaykum, this is a part 2 and final episode of my story, this is a lighter episode (sort of) filled with so much mirth, in this episode I spoke about my first and final days in Babcock university, I spoke about the one heartbreak that made me sob terribly and openly in public, I spoke about life after I left Babcock, spoke about my mental health and to cut the long story short, if there was one thing I did on this episode, I definitely spoke.

trigger warning : sexual harassment,sexual assault, bullying and self harm. the dawn of a new era, in this episode I spoke about my story starting from my childhood up until when I finished high school, this is a very personal one dear to my heart as I had to unearth memories from a very dark time in my life. I put off telling this story for a long time because I couldn't bring myself to fully accept all that happened to me but here I am finally telling my story, I have mixed feelings about this but I believe it's a step I have to take. I would say I hope your enjoy the episode but in all honesty there's nothing to enjoy here, I mean asides the first thirty minutes of the episode, it's all gloomy. to all victims of abuse in any form I see you and I totally understand what it feels like to be crippled with memories that haunt you.

the debut of a new era.

this is a bonus episode but it's closure for old listeners, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has been with me from the very first episode "shooting shots" and to everyone who joined along the way, I say thank you. the vertpod has transitioned from a conversational podcast to an Islamic story telling podcast, I found Islam through a story telling podcast "the digital sisterhood" and it feels just right to have a podcast that can do same for other people.

salam vert, I have been mia since june, your girl has been through the throes of it, but I'm back now better than ever, on today's episode you get to know me on a personal level, I answered questions ranging from my childhood to my pet peeves to what I think love is to me to the genre of book I love to read hint* it's muslim fiction, it's safe to say that if you listen to this episode you'll know more about me than an extended family member.
