In this episode I speak about three ways I became intentional with my wellbeing in the digital space. I read a report by the University of California who stated the average American (can't find Aussie stats!) consumes about 34 GIGABYTES of data and info every day. That is crazy. It's actually about 100,000 words heard or read every day. Listen for my three tips to limit incoming data, how to set a simple boundary & reset human connection. Welcome to season two where I will be sharing BTS as a mum of four, fifo wife & entrepreneur! This episode is all about evening routines. I share a rough outline of what ours looks like and discuss the compromises I make to balance the needs of my kids, and my own sanity. As mentioned in the episode below is a short breakdown of our evening flow: - home between 4/6pm - boys play outside, I prep dinner from the menu plan - sit to eat dinner (80% of the time) with a little gratitude prac - pjs on and play - tidy up and snack (fruit, yoghurt, popcorn) - boys in bed for quiet time with ipads - in rolling 15 minutes we take Mr 3s ipad and say goodnight, Mr 5s and then Mr 6s - normally all three littles are asleep before 8:30pm My routine: - Shower (with candles, essential oils and music) - Kettle on while I... - load the dishwasher, wash dishes - wipe down benches, dining table - tidy bathrooms - check boys clothes are out for next day plus shoes - pack lunchbags - pour cuppa - 7 min evening yoga flow - sip tea in bed while I read, listen to poddy/audio book, watch tedtalk/netflix doco - night shift chat with hubby - lights out at 10/10:30pm *my teen goes to bed between 10/11pm Let me know if this was helpful and I hope you enjoy the episode.
