Episode Remembering Byron Marlowe Cover

Remembering Byron Marlowe

In December 2021, Professor Dr. Byron Marlowe, Director of the Wine and Beverage Business program at Washington State University, passed away. His enormous beard and towering stature was only surpassed by the love he had for his students, friends and family. He impacted the lives of countless people, not only in Washington, but internationally. Byron was present at the conception of the Wine Heretics podcast and was even scheduled to appear in the first season. With his passing, I began recording the testimonials of students, friends, and colleagues to highlight the profound impact Byron had on our lives. This episode includes the testimonials of Greg Jones, April Reddout, Joan Giese, Pauline Garza, Wally Rande, Bob Harrington, Emily Baggot, Paul Wagner, Monica Contreras, Nate Mitchell, Chris Cook, Alexandra Hagar, and Rhonda Hammond.
