What Cognitive Architecture Actually Means

When a system we built starts giving worse answers, nobody concludes the model got lazy. We ask what changed in the conditions around it, open an incident, and restore what it was starved of. Then we walk out of the review and aim the opposite reflex at a person: not what is this environment doing to their work, but what is wrong with them. We reserve our most sophisticated diagnostic generosity for the silicon and our most primitive moral attribution for the mind. The discipline we run on the machine has a name when you run it on a mind.
