True Crime Unsolved
Watch our case breakdown first: https://youtu.be/ZmthxjdJCSs In March 2013, 19-year-old Casey Pitzer disappeared after a night out with friends in Wilmington, Ohio. One week later, her body was discovered in a retention pond near State Route 73, and authorities ultimately ruled her death an accidental drowning. More than a decade later, Casey's father, Greg Pitzer, says the official explanation does not fit the evidence. In this special interview, Sean Cahill and Myles Reiff sit down with Greg Pitzer and family advocate Darrell Petrie to discuss the case, the surveillance footage, witness statements, phone records, and the unanswered questions that continue to surround Casey's death. In Part 1, we focus on the known facts of the case, the events of Casey's final night, the Walmart surveillance footage, the accounts given by the last people known to have seen her alive, and why Casey's family believes key pieces of the official narrative remain unresolved. This interview serves as a companion piece to our Casey Pitzer case breakdown.
