Siders' 14-Year-Old Bride And The Judge Who Forgot

Siders family Gallia County Ohio child marriage judge — in 2002, a Gallia County judge approved a marriage license for a fourteen-year-old pregnant girl and a forty-eight-year-old man named Richard E. Siders, a cousin of Gary Siders Sr. When asked about it years later, that judge said he vaguely remembered and acknowledged that no investigation was ever conducted. That marriage was the first of at least three involving girls between fourteen and fifteen connected to the Siders family across two Ohio counties and West Virginia. In each case, the law allowed parents and judges to sign off on marriages that Ohio's own criminal code could have treated as evidence of a felony. The legal contradiction — one statute criminalizing the conduct, another legalizing the marriage — ran unchecked for nearly two decades. Tony maps the pattern from the first marriage license in 2002 to the sixty-four charges now pending in Vinton County, where prosecutors allege sixteen children were confined to conditions the Attorney General described as prolonged and extreme interfamilial neglect. The connection between the three child brides and the four defendants in the current case is closer than anyone has reported — and it starts with the grandparents. Nolan Wells’ Autopsy Said One Thing Both Sides Won’t Touch

Nolan Wells' independent autopsy results came back undetermined. But inside that finding are two separate conclusions that everyone with a platform is refusing to separate. The autopsy checked for evidence of physical force and found none. No fractures, no deep tissue injuries, no lacerations on an eighteen-year-old athlete's body. Those findings stand regardless of the limitations in the report. But the autopsy could not answer the drowning question because the first examination in Mississippi had already dissected the organs, retained the neck structures, and examined the airway — all standard forensic procedure, confirmed by the independent pathologist's own report. Tony lays out every finding, walks through both expert opinions on the red discoloration on Nolan's skull, and confronts the uncomfortable reality: the state has a completed autopsy with every answer the independent one couldn't reach, and they're not sharing it. A combined $125,000 in reward money sits on the table. The grand jury referral is pending. The DA isn't talking. Episode What d4vd's Lawyer Proved About Those Chainsaws In Court Cover

What d4vd's Lawyer Proved About Those Chainsaws In Court

d4vd — the preliminary hearing put sealed evidence into open court and the defense used every minute of cross-examination to attack the prosecution's physical evidence. Blair Berk established that all three chainsaws recovered from the defendant's residence tested negative for blood. Prosecutors never ordered DNA testing on any of them. The tools that the prosecution says were used in the alleged dismemberment of Celeste Rivas Hernandez have no biological material connecting them to the crime.Berk also went after evidence handling: the cadaver bag was not fully preserved during collection and the burn cage was not seized during the initial search. If the prosecution's theory depends on these items, the defense is arguing the items don't support the theory. On the financial side, testimony established that the defendant earned more than ten million dollars. But the defense showed that his mother and his financial manager handled virtually all transactions — building distance between the defendant and any alleged financial motive. Three special circumstances are alleged: lying in wait, financial gain, and the allegation he acted to eliminate a witness. The DA has not yet decided whether to seek the maximum penalty.Eric Faddis breaks down what the defense accomplished, where the prosecution has to fill gaps before trial, and whether the special circumstances survive this hearing. d4vd's Location Data Put Him WHERE After Celeste Died?!

The prosecution's case against d4vd shifted from evidence to motive on Day 2 of his preliminary hearing — and then digital records allegedly put Burke on a remote highway ninety-five miles from his home. An Interscope executive and a money manager testified that Burke earned more than $10 million between 2022 and 2025, establishing the financial stakes prosecutors say drove the alleged killing of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The money manager admitted knowing Celeste's first name before the body was found. He also testified that after the remains were discovered, Burke's team switched to encrypted messaging and Burke discussed transferring properties to protect them from civil lawsuits. A CHP officer described a Caltrans worker's discovery of Celeste's passport card in brush along State Route 154 in Santa Barbara County. Prosecutors say Burke's location data places him at that exact spot twice following the alleged murder. The defense challenged the passport's chain of custody. More witnesses are expected as the hearing continues.
