Truth & Freedom Podcast: New Generation of provocative thoughts
No word has been more misunderstood, more romanticized, and more deeply desired than the word “freedom.” We often think of freedom as something external. Freedom of time, freedom of money, freedom of location, freedom from responsibility, freedom from restriction. And while those forms of freedom matter, they are not the deepest expression of what it actually means to be free. Because there are people who are externally free but internally imprisoned. And there are people with very limited external circumstances who are profoundly free on the inside. So the real question becomes not, “What does your life look like?” But, “What is your mind still bound to?” Psychological freedom begins where fear loses its authority. Fear is one of the most powerful internal systems we carry. It is designed to protect us, to anticipate danger, to keep us safe. But when fear becomes chronic, it stops being a protector and starts becoming a prison architect.
