Arun Ulahannan, Assistant Professor of Future Transport, joins Rebecca Jackson to talk about the future of electric vehicle charging – could the charge-as-you-drive roads shown in science fiction ever become a reality? They discuss of whole range of different potential wireless charging options, from charging pads for our taxis and buses, to dynamic charging on our motorways. They also explore the safety implications of wireless charging and whether range anxiety could finally be a thing of the past. All opinions expressed are those of the individuals.
