Nancy's ankle has been bothering her for months, so she finally went to the doctor. Apparently, it never healed when she broke it two years ago. Is physical therapy actually going to help her?  The show talked about summer break winding down, back-to-school shopping, and helping local kids through the Clothe the Kids Back-to-School Bash in Sevierville.  There is a new pregnant baby doll toy that lets kids "deliver" a baby from a removable belly that is full of slime.  Joey realized his kids have never experienced classic infomercials after his son got hooked watching a Shark vacuum commercial. The conversation turned into nostalgia about ShamWow, Billy Mays, and other older commercials.  Hot Tea: Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO ignored legal advice and did not consult a genetics/reproductive lawyer before their divorce. Megan Moroney talked about turning heartbreak into concert anthems. A Bigfoot hunter claims he has DNA evidence proving that Sasquatch exists.  The show discussed jobs typically associated with the opposite gender after hearing about a woman-owned locksmith business. Both agreed people should stand, but disagreed with putting hands on someone. They also pointed out that the younger fan has the protected right to not stand up.   Group Therapy: My Mom Got Arrested and Didn't Tell Me  See omnystudio.com/listener [https://omnystudio.com/listener] for privacy information.

Joey and Nancy returned from vacation and immediately compared trips. Nancy described Key West as disappointing because of seaweed-covered beaches, smelly water, bad food, and a rundown golf cart rental, while Joey shared stories from his family’s 1,100-mile New England road trip.  Joey spent much of his vacation waking up angry at Producer Karly after discovering she had secretly set a 3:30 a.m. alarm on his phone weeks ago. The alarm continued going off every morning of vacation, no matter what hotel he was staying in.  The World Cup wrapped up with Spain defeating Argentina 1-0 in the championship match. Joey and Nancy admitted they don't know much about soccer but were fascinated by the massive prize money awarded to the top teams.  Nancy warned listeners about the ongoing “Dookie-demic” lettuce outbreak after reports of a parasite linked to fresh produce caused severe stomach issues for some people.  Hot Tea: Jelly Roll and Bunny XO officially finalized their divorce, with Bunny explaining why she removed her podcast episode about the split. Riley Green had fans debating whether his interview on Theo Von’s podcast showed dry humor or arrogance. A man had to be rescued from inside a porta-potty after climbing in headfirst to retrieve a dropped Mountain Dew bottle.  The show talked about the massive opening weekend of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Producer Karly shared info about the special IMAX cameras used to film it, while Joey and Nancy debated whether the film was appropriate for younger viewers.  Nancy shared her first-ever road rage experience while driving a golf cart in Key West. A group of scooter riders approached her family until one of them noticed her husband’s massive arms and suddenly decided he wanted no part of the confrontation.  Lucky 7 for $50 gift card to Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants  Joey recapped his Great American Road Trip through seven New England states. His favorite discoveries included Vermont, coffee milk, maple creamies, lighthouses, historic battleships, and renovated boutique motels. His least favorite parts included expensive airport parking, paying for soda refills, deep-sea fishing in rough water, Augusta, Maine, and Nantucket.  The show discussed a study claiming that driving the speed limit could save millions of gallons of fuel every day while only adding about 54 seconds to the average commute. Neither Joey nor Nancy seemed especially convinced they were ready to slow down.  Joey shared a travel complaint about a flight attendant who denied his request to move into an empty Comfort+ row, citing a “weight and balance issue.” Moments later, another flight attendant moved his family into those exact seats anyway, leaving Joey convinced he had been fed a creative excuse rather than the truth.  See omnystudio.com/listener [https://omnystudio.com/listener] for privacy information.
