We begin our summer series as WMBCers share personal stories of how God’s Word has spoken to them in the moments of their lives. This Sunday, Terry will share about the passing of his older brother, Chris, and the impact that has had on his family and his faith journey.  In the chaos of grief and loss, Psalm 139 became an anchor of hope. Just a head’s up that Terry will share (with sensitivity) on difficult themes related to his brother’s death.

Leaving a Legacy

Join us this Sunday as Matt & Lisa Wiebe share a multi-generational story of life on mission as cross-cultural missionaries in the Dominican Republic. Matt & Lisa and their boys left early January 2026, and will share updates on their first six months in the mission field and the lessons God has been teaching on leaving a legacy.

David: Legacy of Faithfulness

This Sunday we explore the last words of David, and his legacy of faithfulness. David ranks as one of the key voices in the entire Bible, and it is from the line of David, that a king would come to rule on his throne forever, and usher in a new kingdom, the kingdom of God here on earth. We celebrate this Sunday, the incredible Kingdom story that we are living in, and all that God is doing in and through WMBC – we are witnesses to his faithfulness! Join us as we commission our young adults serving at camp this summer, introduce you to the leaders of the Ukrainian Bible Church, and reflect on what legacy WMBC will leave.

Better Not Call Saul

I frequently ask myself the question “what kind of person do you want to be when you’re seventy?” The choices that we make today impact our character and our futures. This week we’re going to look at the story of Saul, Israel’s first king. As we look at his story, we’ll see the expectation and hope that came with his ascension to power, and we’ll watch how poor choices and living in regret ultimately derailed his life and led to a legacy that aged poorly.
