054 | Breaking free from the comparison trap: Oubaitori, Karma and Human Design

Comparison is wired into us earlier than we think....and in this episode, I'm exploring where it starts, why it's so hard to shake, and the tools I return to when I catch myself in the trap: Oubaitori..the Japanese concept that each of us, like cherry, plum, apricot and peach blossoms on our own timing and season. Prarabdha karma...the idea that we each come into this lifetime with our own allotted lessons and experiences to move through, meaning someone else's apparent ease is simply a different soul curriculum, not evidence that you're behind. Human Design... and how understanding your design makes comparison not just unhelpful, but structurally meaningless. A Projector with an undefined Sacral was never supposed to match the output of a Generator. A 3 line was never supposed to learn the way a 1 line does. This week has been a strange one…and if you've been feeling it too, you're not imagining it. In this episode I share honestly about the dense, foggy energy that's been moving through me this week, and the astrology behind it: Mars in Taurus squaring Pluto in Aquarius, which peaked on May 26th. We explore what happens when the drive to do, create and act comes up against intensity, shadow and transformation….and how that tension can eventually become the very catalyst that pushes us through. 052 | Gate 8 Human Design: The Gate of Contribution

This week the Sun is moving through Gate 8 in Human Design — The Gate of Contribution — and I wanted to spend some time exploring and reflecting on this energy.  In this episode, I explore the themes of Gate 8, the relationship between contribution and authenticity, the fear of being misunderstood, and the pressure many of us feel to soften or suppress what makes us unique in order to belong.
