Welcome the WBA #1 Boxer John "Scrappy" Ramirez! First and foremost thank you to Brickhouse Boxing Gym for letting us record with Scrappy at their wonderful facility! In this episode you'll get to meet Scrappy, most of you have seen the swag, the knockouts, the big wins, the chains the grill, but in this episode you'll get to learn where Scrappy comes from and what he does to keep himself sharp and hungry for more It is one thing getting to the top, and it is another thing staying at the top. We discuss the difference in boxing and the UFC when it comes to getting a digit in the loss column. Sometimes in Boxing once that unbeaten record disappears the fighters also disappear, or sometimes they are not quite the same. It is a mental battle that scrappy handled in a very unique way as you'll hear in this episode. The boys enjoyed having scrappy on the show, it was a good time, and at one point Scrappy flipped the switch and went into FIGHT mode. You can see the difference in his face if you pay close attention. Scrappy shares how grateful he is, and how he continues to trust that he is in the right place with his team, his gym, his coaching and his management.
