Bravery isn’t always about facing your fears head-on or accomplishing the impossible. Sometimes, being brave means knowing when to quit, deciding you’re already whole and enough, or choosing not to do the so-called “brave thing” simply because it’s not what you want.Brave Little Things is about redefining what it means to show up courageously in life and business, taking small, sustainable steps that help us feel more at home in ourselves. Through raw storytelling, diverse insights, practical tools, and real-life practices, we’ll explore all the ways bravery shows up in everyday moments. Most importantly, you’ll feel held as we navigate these conversations together. Because if there’s one thing I know about building a brave, full life, it’s that doing it together makes it so much easier. What does it mean to choose a brave life—slowly, intentionally, and on your terms? Let’s go there.

episode This Might Not Work cover

This Might Not Work

The 4 most transformational words you could ever utter in your business? This might not work. Sounds strange, I know. But what if those four words are actually the key to more creativity, self-trust, and resilience? In this episode, I’m sharing why letting go of “This HAS to work” might be exactly what helps you find the path that does. Because maybe success isn’t about having the perfect plan. Maybe it’s about trusting yourself enough to come up with the next one. Doors are open for UNMUTE: A 28-Day Visibility Challenge: a 28 day experience for women entrepreneurs who want to stop overthinking every post, trust their voice, show up more consistently, and become impossible to ignore. episode The Hidden Cost of Doing Your Best cover

The Hidden Cost of Doing Your Best

We’ve been taught our whole lives to “do our best.” To make things impressive. Exceptional. A-plus worthy. But what if constantly trying to do your best is actually the thing keeping you stuck? In this episode, I’m talking about B-minus work, perfectionism, minimum baselines, and why so many brilliant people never begin the things they care about most because they’re afraid to do them imperfectly. We explore: - why perfectionism creates procrastination - the hidden emotional cost of A-plus standards - why consistency matters more than intensity - how social media can actually become a practice ground for showing up - the power of “minimum baselines” - why tiny repeated actions change identity over time I also share a story from Atomic Habits by James Clear about a photography professor who discovered that the students focused on quantity—not perfection—ended up producing the best work. This episode is for the overthinkers, perfectionists, creators, entrepreneurs, and humans waiting to feel ready before they begin. Maybe your life changes not because you become fearless… but because you become willing to participate before you feel exceptional. What a Sugar-Free Challenge Taught My 10 Year-Old (And Me)

This week on Brave Little Things, I have a very special guest joining me… my 10-year-old son, Adiv. Our house has been full of challenges lately, and Adiv had just completed a week-long no-sugar challenge, so I invited him onto the podcast to talk about what it was like to do something hard on purpose. We chat about cravings, motivation, what surprised him, what helped him keep going, and what he learned about himself along the way. I also share some reflections from my own recently completed 30-day visibility challenge—a month of showing up online every day, making videos, using my voice, and learning how to keep going regardless of the results. Together, we explore what challenges can teach us, why temporary commitments can be so powerful, and how doing hard things often changes us in ways we don’t expect. At the end of the episode, I also share details about a new challenge I’m leading in July: The 28-Day Free Your Voice Visibility Challenge We’ll spend the month practicing showing up, using our voices, taking imperfect action, and building trust with ourselves one small step at a time. If you’d like to learn more, send me a DM on Instagram with the number 28 and I’ll send you all the information. Thanks for listening, and as always, here’s to doing brave little things.

episode Why You Might Be Creatively Blocked cover

Why You Might Be Creatively Blocked

In this episode, I’m talking about something I’ve been noticing in myself lately — and I think a lot of entrepreneurs and creatives are quietly struggling with it too. We live in a world of constant input. Podcasts, courses, reels, books, ideas, information, noise. And while learning and consuming can feel inspiring and expansive… there comes a point where too much input starts making us feel heavy instead of alive. In this episode, I’m breaking down what I see as the three essential states of creativity: consuming, creating, and integrating. I share my own experience of falling in love with coaching, going all in on learning, eventually hitting a wall, and then rediscovering joy through creating, coaching, and expressing instead of only taking things in. But the biggest shift came when I realized there was a third piece missing entirely: integration. The walks without earbuds. The quiet drives. The staring-out-the-window moments. The silence. The space for your own thoughts to actually rise to the surface. We talk about: * why too much input can make you feel creatively blocked * the nervous system side of creativity * why some of your best ideas come when you stop trying so hard * the importance of boredom, quiet, and spaciousness * how nature itself models cycles of consuming, creating, and integrating If you’ve been feeling creatively overloaded, disconnected from yourself, or like your brain just needs more room to breathe a little again — this episode is for you. episode Be an Influence, Not an Influencer cover

Be an Influence, Not an Influencer

In a world obsessed with likes, reach, and “going viral,” what if virality isn’t actually the goal? In this episode, I’m talking about the pressure so many business owners feel to grow fast online — and why chasing attention can sometimes pull us further away from the people we’re actually here to serve. I share: - The story of a coach friend who accidentally went viral overnight - Why huge engagement doesn’t always equal aligned business growth - The hidden downside of virality and algorithm-chasing - Why your “low engagement” offer posts may actually be your most important content - The difference between being an influencer and being an influence - Why intimacy, resonance, and real connection matter so much more than numbers This episode is a reminder that your job is not to entertain the masses. Your job is to help your people find you. To book a free coaching consult with Tamar: www.tamarcoaching.com/consult
