They elaborated on the importance of making politics people-driven rather than money-driven and resources to support local campaigns that make real change in our country. Eva opened Evinco Strategies in 2016 to focus on electing candidates who increase representation in government — specializing in first-time candidates from diverse backgrounds who face barriers in traditional campaigns, as well as issue campaigns that tackle systemic injustice. Eva is passionate about social and criminal justice, local and state-level campaigns, diverse representation in politics, and training the next generation of political operatives. Prior to her work in politics, Eva worked as a journalist, with a focus on government and human trafficking. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Tennessee.
