Crufts 2026 Special Celebrating International Women's Day

In this special International Women’s Day episode of Fur Goodness Sake, we head to the world-famous Crufts Dog Show to celebrate the incredible women making a difference in the dog world. Trailblazers in the dog world they are dedicated, passionate and inspirational. Recorded live at Crufts, this episode shines a spotlight on passionate women whose work supports dogs and the people who love them. We begin by chatting with Alex, the creative mind behind the popular social media channel Good Boy Ollie, who shares how a love for her dogs turned into an online community that spreads joy, fun and heart-warming moments with Ollie and Tato. An online advocate for doing more with your dog, she explores a range of activities and training with her two labradors. Next, we meet Eileen from Therapy Dogs Nationwide, who talks about the powerful impact therapy dogs have in schools, hospitals, and communities across the UK. She shares inspiring stories about the comfort and confidence these dogs bring to people who need it most. It is the charity's 10 year anniversary, Eileen and Spartacus are currently celebrating receiving @theoneshows One Big Thank you, which was presented by Pete Wix in April of last year. We’re also joined by Rachel Bean, a veterinary nurse, animal activist, and pet first aid trainer. Rachel discusses why first aid knowledge is so important for pet owners, the work she does to improve animal welfare, and simple steps everyone can take to keep their dogs safe.
