We touch on signs from our loved ones, pivotal moments during loss, bossing up, carrying guilt, relating to our family members differently after seeing friends experience loss, living in fear, giving when it’s time to give and allowing others to give to you in your time of need. It never gets easier but showing up for others helps. Sometimes loss brings you closer to people because of your shared experience, which is the beauty in tragedy. Losing a loved one is one of the hardest and most universal things we as human-beings go through. Anf and Ericamo are back, along with special guest, Gusto Kalel to discuss their experiences with loss and grief. On Part 1, Yessenia gives a mini check-in and honors her late grandfather who past away last month. (2:10) Then we dive into our discussion. (4:44) Each of our guest shares a bit about what their experiences have been like - the trauma of receiving that dreadful call, finding beauty in the pain, feeling the love and support of your friends and family, not knowing how to go about each day or who to turn to, self-sabotage, guilt, acceptance, etc. How does each person deal with the storm of losing a loved one?
