Episode 5- The Wrong Keys

What do a locked camper, a bin full of keys, and a locksmith have to do with our faith? More than I ever expected! After Doug and I accidentally locked ourselves out of our RV, we spent hours trying key after key, convinced the next one would be the one that worked. It got me thinking about how often we do the same thing in life—searching for peace, purpose, happiness, and fulfillment in all the wrong places. In this episode, I share a camping mishap that turned into a powerful lesson about the human heart, the things we chase, and why Jesus might be the only key that truly fits. If you've ever felt restless, exhausted, or like you're still searching for something more, this episode is for you. Why? Because....sometimes the answer isn't another key. Episode 3- From Disaster to Encounter- Finding Jesus on the Road

What do a broken RV door, tornado warnings, and a freezing night have to do with the road to Emmaus? More than you might think! In this episode, I share a real-life story from a recent camping trip that didn’t go as planned—and how it unexpectedly connected to the Sunday Gospel from two weeks ago. (Luke 24:13–35). The disciples walked with Jesus and didn’t even recognize Him… and sometimes, we do the same. I'll talk about what it looks like to walk through frustrating, confusing, or disappointing moments—and how God is often right there, even when we don’t see Him. Episode 2- Locked Doors, Doubt and Belief

This weekend’s Gospel (John 20:19–31) hit me in a way I couldn’t shake. The apostles were hiding behind locked doors—afraid, uncertain, and carrying everything that had just happened. And instead of a lecture… Jesus shows up and says, “Peace be with you.” Then there’s Thomas—the one who needed proof. And then there’s us… the ones who didn’t see, but are still called to believe. In this episode, I reflect on how this Gospel connects to our lives—whether your heart feels locked, you’re struggling with doubt, or you’re trying to trust God without seeing. We also connect this to Divine Mercy Sunday and the message of Saint Faustina Kowalska—a reminder that Jesus meets us with mercy, not judgment. Episode 1- Welcome to Keepin' it Catholic with Kim

Why am I Catholic? Not just because I was raised that way… but because I chose it. In this first episode, I’m sharing my story—how I grew up Catholic, struggled to truly understand my faith, and eventually made the decision to dive deeper instead of picking and choosing what I believed. I talk about how some of my biggest doubts became the foundation of my strongest faith, and how powerful parts of Catholicism—like Adoration, the Eucharist, Confession, and the example of the saints—have completely transformed my life. I also share a deeply personal moment of surrender in Adoration during my battle with body dysmorphia and an eating disorder… and how that became the beginning of healing.
