Authority as Children of God “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God…” John 1:12 It takes authority to become a son of God. We began a program, The Glory of the Kingdom last week are going to for just for a little bit then we wanna shift to another Connection. We’ve talked about Divine Connections for several months now because this is the set-apart time for connections. 2026 is the year Heaven is connecting back to Earth. When heaven connects to earth that causes all of heaven, everything in heaven to touch earth! God's power, His miracles, His love, His Glory, His anointing, His authority! All connects back to earth through us this year! The Glory of the Kingdom was the program last week. The Glory of God is here on this earth. The Glory of God resting upon His people. There is Kingdom growth taking place now. There is a Spiritual awakening right now. Nations are being drawn to God’s Light. There is an End-time manifestation of God’s Kingdom taking place. This is what happens when heaven invade earth! Isaiah 60 is not merely about future prophecy, it is a revelation of what happens when the King manifests His Glory among His people. Authority is the right to represent and enforce the will of the King. Throughout Scripture, whenever God’s Glory is revealed, His authority is established, demonstrated, or recognized. And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. “Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. Isaiah 60 is a prophetic picture of: -The glory of God resting upon His people -Kingdom expansion -Spiritual awakening -Divine restoration -Nations being drawn to God’s light -End-time manifestation of God’s kingdom Isaiah 60 reveals what happens when heaven invades earth through the manifested glory of God. This is the Year That happens! The Glory Produces Divine Illumination Darkness covers the earth, but glory rests on God’s people.
