You Let Alcohol Teach You What Fun Was

Praise God for Rotimi. And if you have ever touched a drink in your life, this testimony is yours too. Most of us never stopped to ask God what fun was actually supposed to look like. We just followed the crowd, leaned on our own understanding, and called it a good time. Nobody told us there was another option. Nobody sat us down and said the Lord was willing to teach us something better. So we never asked. We just kept going. But that was always the warning hiding in plain sight. Scripture said wine is a mocker and strong drink is a brawler, and whoever gets pulled in by it lacks wisdom. Not character. Not willpower. Wisdom. The kind that only comes from actually seeking Him on the question. Deliverance from the spirit of alcohol is not a small thing. It is evidence that God still moves on behalf of people who were never trying to be a problem. They were just never taught what freedom could feel like sober. Rotimi found out. This Anointing Came with the Fear of the Lord

In this very first episode of the Locked in Christ podcast I testify about my acceptance of a fresh anointing on my voice from God during a bible study I attended on Wednesday! With raw honesty and the Fear of the Lord upon me I accepted this calling and the bearing of this cross that requires dying to myself. I have previously shrunk back during times of pain and turmoil, preferring to process privately rather than create publicly through suffering.
