Arguably the greatest rapper of all time, but unarguably the most notorious in history; Tupac Shakur was a paradox, surrounded by controversy and adored by millions. Defined by his many faces, he was a poet, an actor, a musician, an activist, a thug, a genius, and ultimately a martyr in one of the great unsolved murders of our time. He was at the tail end of an era when musicians were consumed by their influence. So many of the greatest artists seem to die in their twenties, and there's a reason for that.
