As we all know, life can get crazy busy with well…life. Everyone has seasons that don’t allow for heavy time commitments to a weekly Bible study at their church or in their neighborhood. That’s why we’ve created a podcast space where you can come and go, as your schedule allows, that points you toward Jesus and His Word. Each season, a combination of our hosts – Kristy Allen, Micah Harrison, Kelly Meadows, and Matt Winter – will discuss a Bible study and share with you what they have learned and how God is moving in their lives as they go through the study.

episode Who Will See? Faith, Surrender, and the Road to Jerusalem artwork
Who Will See? Faith, Surrender, and the Road to Jerusalem

In this episode, we explore Luke 18:9–19:44, where Jesus challenges pride and self-reliance, calling His followers to radical humility and deep trust in the Father. Through the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector, He contrasts outward righteousness with a repentant heart. We see children lifted as models of kingdom faith, while a wealthy ruler walks away—unwilling to surrender all. Yet Jesus promises that sacrificial trust in Him will not go unrewarded. As He foretells His death and heals a blind man, Jesus steadily turns His face toward Jerusalem. In Zacchaeus’ story, we witness salvation come to a home, underscoring His mission to seek and save the lost. Finally, Jesus weeps over the city that will reject Him, revealing the grief of a Messiah whose path to glory leads through rejection and sacrifice. 🔔 Subscribe and join the journey through the Gospel of Luke! ============================= Scripture ============================= 📖  Luke 18:9–19:44 ============================= Bible Study Podcast: Channel Credits ============================= 🎙️ HOSTS:: Kristy Allen, Micah Harrison, Matt Winter 🎛️ PRODUCTION + MIXING:: Lepard Productions 🎨 CREATIVE DIRECTOR:: Colin McFarland   A Product of Lepard Productions + The Mission Hills Podcast Network in Littleton, CO. © Mission Hills Church - All Rights Reserved

episode Faithful Foreigners in a Broken World artwork
Faithful Foreigners in a Broken World

What does it mean to live as faithful citizens of God's kingdom when the world doesn't play by the rules? In this episode of the Bible Study Podcast, Matt, Kristy, and Micah draw upon Luke 17:11-18:8 to uncover what Jesus teaches about gratitude, justice, and faith that endures. They unpack why the grateful Samaritan points us toward true worship, what it means that God’s kingdom is already “in our midst,” and how to keep trusting when life feels unfair or exhausting. This conversation will challenge and encourage you to see your everyday moments (your work, your waiting, your persistence) as part of the unshakable Kingdom of God in the messiness of life. 🔔 Subscribe and join the journey through the Gospel of Luke! ============================= Scripture ============================= 📖 Luke 17:11–18:8 ============================= Bible Study Podcast: Channel Credits ============================= 🎙️ HOSTS:: Kristy Allen, Micah Harrison, Matt Winter 🎛️ PRODUCTION + MIXING:: Lepard Productions 🎨 CREATIVE DIRECTOR:: Colin McFarland   A Product of Lepard Productions + The Mission Hills Podcast Network in Littleton, CO. © Mission Hills Church - All Rights Reserved
