Welcome to Movie Mandates, a review show in which sibling cinephiles Andrew and Keleigh force each other to watch movies according to a monthly theme!  This month, we're watching movies that take place in a Single Location and up first is my mandated movie: Rope.  In this Hitchcock thriller, two guys murder a dude with a length of the titular rope, hide the body, then invite a bunch of people into their home to see if they can keep their nerves, anxiety, and guilt in check and get through a dinner party without tipping anyone off. Welcome to Movie Mandates, a review show in which sibling cinephiles Andrew and Keleigh force each other to watch movies according to a monthly theme!  It's Silent Movies month and I'm kicking things off with the Buster Keaton classic, THE GENERAL, a wacky adventure based on an amazing true story from the American Civil War that dares ask the question, "What if we changed things so the protagonists were fighting on the side of monstrous racists?!"
