Season 2 Episode 9: Interview with Brian Whitney, musician

How do creative people find day jobs that allow them to be creative when they come home? You can't have a job that exhausts you mentally or even physically, otherwise you will never get to the real work. A couple weeks ago, Brian Whitney posted one of those Instagram prompts to his stories- this was a list of the many jobs he has taken in order to survive. These include job titles like: barista, sandwich artist, cashier, bin filler, and paraprofessional. In this episode we find out how Brian has been able to work and make space to be creative because in the interim, he has also been part of a few bands and has released a few albums of solo work.
